"…I feel you need to be visually entertaining..."

Nov. '07

Q:Does your band fight about anything? If so, what?

Caroline Blue:Me [Wayne] & Johnny usually fight over who gets to look in front of the mirror first. No, but seriously, we've had discussions about things & there have been times when things can get a little intense, but that's about it, no fighting.

Q: What’s the worst thing that ever happened to your hair?

Caroline Blue:When I [Wayne] was a lot younger I used to get perms so my hair would look curly. I remember one time my Mom offered to perm my hair for free and I agreed. Not a good idea. Not only did the solution burn the back of my neck, but she used the wrong curlers and, somehow, instead of soft silky hair it was like my hair had fused into cement! I had her redo it and, as a result, my hair looked pretty burnt. My Mom meant well, but after that I only had them done in salons.

Q: How do you feel about pyrotechnics at shows?

Caroline Blue: I love it. If you just want the audio experience, stay home & listen to the CD. At a show, I feel you need to be visually entertaining as well. I'm all for it-as long as safe guards are in place, they are done in a safe environment and performed by well trained/licensed people. The Great White tragedy showed all of us what could happen otherwise.

Q: Who comes up with the artwork for your merchandise and your CD covers?

Caroline Blue:To date, I'm [Wayne] the one who comes up with the concepts, designs & direction for the artwork on these things. I usually tell people who are graphic artists my ideas & images and they make them a tangible entity. In the future I plan on learning how to use those programs myself.

Q: What’s your favorite song you play and why?

Caroline Blue: "Hard Life." I [Johnny] added some cool vocal harmonies to it that weren't originally there.
